Jeju Style Noodle, Jeju Gogi Noodle!!

Food 2019-12-09

This restaurant is located on the way to my wife’s parents’ house so we used to love to visit this restaurant on the way to her home before. We didn’t expect much but it was really good when we had what they served. Their main dishes are Gogi(meat) noodles and I was told that they were Jeju-do style. I haven’t had noodles in Jeju Island yet but if it’s Jeju style, I must have loved it.

Their menu is mostly quite expensive especially for the amount. That’s because they serve only Jeju style dishes and drinks. I would say that it’s not a typical Korean noodle but it’s very distinguished Korean traditional food. It is definitely different from I have had so far but differently good.

My choice was the Jeju Gogi Noodle, a soup version and I really loved it. It’s getting cold these days so I’d like to go visit again for its hot soup to feel warm inside.

It was definitely my preference, my favorite kind.

My wife’s choice was the Bibim Gogi Noodle, a hash noodle kind. I don’t know why but I guess that ladies in Korea prefer this kind.

I took some bites of it and it was quite good but I wouldn’t recommend it in the winter.
