Wolmi-do Island in Incheon
Wolmi-do is one of the most popular places in Incheon, Korea. It’s located about 1 km off the coast in Incheon. They have a small amusement park which is called Paly Hill. I wasn’t very much into rides but just watching people could still be exciting.
It has been a while since the last time I visited and I just figured we could eat some seafood but I could tell that many things have changed. The amusement park itself looked much cleaner and modernized so we definitely enjoyed walking around. Besides, just being there was so much fun and you can smell the fresh ocean air.
The restaurant we visited was very popular with grilled clams and I know many foreigners might not like it and I’ve even heard some people say that it’s disgusting. But if you like seafood, then you definitely must try this. I didn’t have high expectations myself at first, but this restaurant has their own recipe for grilled clams and it’s much better than other restaurants that I have been to. This was the only place where it was packed and we had to wait for a while to get a table.
You can also take a road leading to a lighthouse which is called Incheon Wolmido Lighthouse Road and you can see a bright sign at night so you can't miss it.
When you get to the riverside, you might see some people fishing there and you can also see the night sky lit up with fireworks. It was really beautiful.
They provide cruise service as well so if you want to take a short tour near the island, you can buy a ticket for that. Watching it pass by very closely was very impressive to us. You better see it with you own eyes because it's beyond description from the picture.

Hanwoo, Beef that Melts in Your Mouth.
We had a chance to visit a Korean barbeque restaurant that serves Korean beef, also known as ‘Hanwoo’ near the office. Have you heard of Hanwoo? It means Korean native cattle or Korean beef. I would say that everyone in Korea would love to eat Hanwoo but the only problem is that it is quite pricey to eat often.
The restaurant that we visited was a very popular venue because of its taste and quality of meat. The moment that I had a bite, I thought it was melting in my mouth. I didn’t even need any kind of sauce, just a bit of salt because I didn’t want to spoil its original taste.
This restaurant is also a butcher's shop so you can compare the prices of each part and buy it at quite a reasonable price.
This is another reason why I loved this place. This is a Korean style raw beef and we call it Yukhoe. They serve it for free as a side dish but only once, ha.
When you have a chance to visit Korea, you don’t have to think about any other types of Korean food. Just try Hanwoo first, it could be expensive but it’s worth it and you will not regret it. It should be one of your main priorities when you visit Korea. There are different grades of Hanwoo but I would suggest you should try the A+ grade which is a bit higher than the average. We had A++ grade which is a higher quality of Hanwoo.
